Sounding Board
FAQs

To more effectively connect
with our key constituencies, NCFR is in the process of developing
a National Sounding Board. The NCFR National Sounding Board is
a network of professionals from across the United States who are
at the cutting edge of fatality and severe injury review, injury
prevention, and community based advocacy. Representing a particular
region that often crosses county or state lines, these individuals
are creating new and exciting programs to prevent serious injury,
and/or advocating for needed change in policy. Each member possesses
a broad-based knowledge of many of the current and emerging issues
in related fields and is able to provide technical assistance
in a number of areas. For a list of Child Fatality Reveiw
related FAQs put together by Sounding Board members which deal
with their respective geographic regions or areas of expertise,
read the FAQ .
You may contact these members directly, if you have questions
that are related to their questions and answers.
As representatives of NCFR, the Sounding Board will consider what would be helpful to CDR team members on a day-to-day basis and how NCFR is best able to assist. Also, the Board will be able to suggest how use of the Internet, other technologies and face-to-face meetings might help meet the needs of professionals in the field.
